January is a sleepy month, filled with lazy afternoons, outdoor eating and making plans. We’re busy on that last count, planning a big 2015 for Feminartsy, with more announcements on that to come soon!

The theme for this month is ‘Promise(s)’, and it’s all about the tension between the potential and reality of beginnings. We’ll be publishing a little less content than usual this month, as we start warming up to the year ahead, but expect more in February and we’ll keep amping it up from there.

On Wednesday 14 January, we’ll be hosting our first event for 2014 at The Front, with readings from Farz Edraki, Lucy Nelson and Nick Delatovic, and music from Darling Mermaid Darlings. You should definitely come along.
