Editor’s Letter – December

I’ll admit that this month’s theme, ‘Vacations’ is not the most original. But to be honest, as soon as December hits us, all I can think about is taking my end of year holiday and heading to the coast with my partner and his family for the most relaxed Christmas in existence.

The content we have for you this month isn’t all tinsel and beach houses, though. Today we have our first ever, and really brilliant comic strip to share, from artist Emma D, tackling capitalism. We’ll also be bringing you fiction Kleo Cruse, essays and memoir from Samantha Van Zweden, Gemma Nourse, Katerina Bryant and Cher Tan, and art from Samuel Townsend. More to be announced soon, also!

Although we have some amazing content to publish, this month will be quieter on the events front for Feminartsy, as we wind down for the year. We have some exciting new things planned for 2015 though, so stay in touch.

As always, questions and feedback are welcomed to editor.feminartsy@gmail.com.

But for now, happy reading.
